TUBA CITY ALLIANCE CHURCH
Tuba City, Arizona

Tuba City Fellowship was started by Herman Williams around 1978 when he moved from Navaho Mountain to Tuba City. For twenty five years the fellowship has had to meet in different homes. Presently they are meeting in the double wide trailer. Doug Haskins is pastoring Tuba City C&MA Fellowship. Doug is also working bi-vocational. The fellowship is working through the legal process of applying for a land permit from the Navaho Tribe for a Mission site lease. The permit is waiting to be signed by the Navaho nation president and to be returned to Tuba City land department. The next step is to have the BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs) sign the permit. If all goes well Tuba City Fellowship will have the land permit application approved and receive the land permit. Prayer is needed for the land permit not to be dropped through the cracks or lost in the process. Once the permit is gained, the focus will be on putting a building up or moving to a bigger modular unit to allow more room for meetings. Another idea is to put in a basement and move the double wide on top of the basement.
